The 2200 Voice/Data Mux provides two high quality voice circuits and two sync/async data channels over one standard 56Kbps digital telephone link. Options include an integral 56Kbps CSU/DSU. This flexible, high performance multiplexer can be user configured for either two voice channels and two RS-232 data ports (up to 9.6Kbps), sync or async, or two voice circuits and one RS232 data port at 19.2 Kbps. The DAWN 2200 converts standard analog telephone voice circuits to high-quality 16Kbps ADPCM digital voice signals. It meets all standard two-wire and four-wire PBX and central office interface requirements for line and/or trunk, supports Private Line Automatic Ringdown (PLARD), and is fully compatible with DTMF, SF, E&M and pulse dial signaling.
